I haven't talked to too many people who've visited Greece this year. I'm pretty covid safe, and I don't like being in places where people aren't following social distancing and mask rules. I worry that because people are on vacation and enjoying themselves that they aren't following the rules. What's it like? (I'm assuming it's different depending on the island/region) so please be specific!! Thanks :)

I haven't been to Greece since the pandemic, but from what I understand, people are following the rules pretty well. Can anyone chime in who has gone to Greece this year?

I just came back from Greece.

Masks everywhere or you won't be allowed in for the most part... that said, there are people in Greece who disagree with masks and won't wear them or enforce the rules.

Yes there are a few people that don't follow the rules. Although because its still warm outside, everyone is outside and enjoying the heat and fresh air so people aren't wearing masks. Everyone is eating outside as well, so people mostly wear masks for shopping

Nice Islands Only Accessible by Ferry

I have been interested in going a bit "off the beaten track" in Greece. I have been told that one of the things to look for are islands that don't have an airport. Off the top of your head, can you guys think of some good ones?

Some possibilities: Asypylaia, Halki, Ikaria... I feel like there could be more.

I want the island to be quiet, but still with things to do ... like beaches, maybe a museum or two, some shopping, restaurants..

Traveling from Santorini to Mykonos

I plan to go to Santorini this summer, but even tough I love it there, I suspect I will only want to spend a short time - just a few nights. I have some friends that actually live on Mykonos that I want to visit, so I am wondering the best way to go from Santorini to Mykonos? From what I understand, the ferry is pretty easy - is this true? I have only gone to Mykonos from the Athens airport and have never used the ferry to get on the island.

Spas in Athens?

I am passing through Athens in a few months – I will be in Greece for a while. I won’t be in Athens long, just a few days, and I think I want to visit a spa.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I am interested in more of like a Hamam experience, and maybe get a massage too.

I Googled some possibilities, but don't know anything about them: Hammam Baths Athens - Melidoni 1, Old City Hamam & Spa - Athanasiou Diakou 1, and Al Hammam Traditional Baths - Tripodon 16.

Athens, Rhodes and Milos among the 20 best holiday destinations in Europe in 2023!

Always inspiring and informative editorials from the Tornos team!.... Athens in my opinion has just only just become popular in the past 20 years or so! ...... Now I remember Rhodes being a preferred destination 50 years ago when I began working in Tourism from good ol'London town!..... Milos is a new kid on the block!..... Fabulous breathtakingly beautiful beaches!

Visiting Church of Saint Demetrios in Santorini

One of my favorite places to visit in Thessaloniki is the Church of Saint Demetrios. I heard he is the patron saint of the city?

When I went, I only just walked through and enjoyed the look and feel. I don't know much about it.

Would love to hear your opinions of this place, I will be passing through Thessaloniki in a few months and am hoping to catch a church Service. Last time I went, I just visited, there was no service going on.
