My friend is visiting Rhodes at the moment and I told him that this forum is a great place to ask niche questions! He's looking for a sports bar to watch the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next week, are there any good spots with big tvs that would most likely be showing the games?

Most bars will have football on their TVs

Here are a few sports bars to consider in the Rhodes Greece area:

From the little research I just did, it seems that some of these bars are not "Greek." My suggestion is walking around town and bit and seeing what's around ahead of time. There are usually very many cafes all over Greece that show soccer games

I would also ask around - locals know where to go for this kind of thing!

There are many sports bars in Rhodes, especially, they have a huge arrangement of football, some of the national players play at their famous stadium, I know all of these things because I serve many players as a waterboy, so that's why, I know very well, if you want to know about anything about NFL, just drop your comment and tag me, I will help you.

Do they get very full during popular games?

Taking a boat trip around Rhodes?

Has anyone ever taken a boat trip around the island of Rhodes?

From what I've researched, there are a plethora of options, from luxurious yachts to quaint sailing boats, each promising an unforgettable journey across the Aegean Sea. 🌊

What I'm Looking For:

  • Recommendations for boat tour companies you trust.
  • Tips on hidden gems and must-see spots along the coastline or nearby islets.
  • Any advice on the best time of day or year for smooth sailing.
  • Insights on what to bring apart from the obvious (sunscreen, hat, camera—you get the drift).
Anything you can help me with is very much appreciated!

Holiday season coming to a close in Greece & the islands

Visiting Ancient Ramiro's on Rhodes

I realized I have never seen this site and I am traveling with history buffs. I thought I'd ask you all for some advice:

  1. Best Time to Visit: What’s the best time of year to explore Ancient Kamiros to avoid the crowds but still enjoy good weather?
  2. Getting There: Are there public transportation options available, or would renting a vehicle be advisable? Any tips on parking or the best times to arrive?
  3. Must-Sees: Within the site, are there any particular spots or artifacts that are a must-see? I'm interested in capturing some great photos and soaking in the history.
  4. Tour. Should I take a tour? Anything to recommend?

Nightlife in Rhodes - Faliraki

I have some friends who went to Rhodes last year and they said they observed that Faliraki has some good nightlife. Is this true?

Could anyone share some insider tips or personal experiences about the best spots to enjoy the evening?

Specifically, I’m looking for:
  • Clubs that have a great atmosphere and awesome music.
  • Bars or pubs where I can meet new people and have some good conversation.
  • Any places known for live music or unique entertainment.
I will only be there for a few days and I might only have a night to spend doing that kind of thing before I move on to another part of Greece. Trying to see a lot this time.

I am looking for tips about visiting Rhodes for couples. I will be traveling with my significant other and no one else, and this is a first traveling without other people. I am excited!

  • Charming Places to Stay: We'd appreciate suggestions for quaint, romantic accommodations that offer a memorable experience.
  • Must-See Attractions: What are the top sights that we should not miss while in Rhodes?
  • Romantic Dining: Any hidden gems or restaurants with a romantic ambiance that would be perfect for a couple?
  • Secluded Spots: Are there any less-traveled beaches or quiet spots for some quality time away from the crowds?
  • Local Experiences: We're keen on engaging in activities or experiences unique to Rhodes – anything that's a bit off the beaten path.
  • Travel Tips: Any general advice on navigating Rhodes as a couple – transportation, safety, or local customs we should be aware of?
