I am working on planning a trip to Rhodes and am trying to prioritize which ones I should see. I've come up with a list. Did I miss anything? Realistically, I might only have time to see about 5 places, but I want more on the list than I can see so I can decide what seems the most interesting to me.

Here's what I have:
  1. Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes
  2. Rhodes Old Town Walls
  3. Acropolis of Lindos
  4. Street of the Knights
  5. Archaeological Museum of Rhodes
  6. Castle of Monolithos
  7. Kallithea Springs
  8. Ancient Kamiros
  9. Ancient Ialysos
  10. Ancient Kameiros

Hi, how long are you going to stay in Rhodes?

  • Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes
  • Rhodes Old Town Walls
  • Street of the Knights
  • Archaeological Museum of Rhodes
All these points of interest, (I would add acropolis of Rhodes) are located in Rhodes town and can visited in 4-5 hours.

There are lots of other things to do in Rhodes island but everything depends on your interests and time you are willing to spend on the island.

Lots of great advice here! I enjoyed the history of Rhodes most of all, but I realized when my time there was almost up that there were some fantastic beaches. Here's my list of essentials:

1. Rhodes old town
2. Lindos Acropolis
3. Therme Beach
4. Palace of the Grand Master

Are there festivals in the summer in Rhodes?

I’m planning a trip to Rhodes, Greece, and I've heard that the island is not just about stunning beaches and breathtaking landscapes, but it’s also rich in culture and offers a variety of festivals throughout the year. I’m really excited about the possibility of aligning my visit with one of these cultural events!

Can anyone share recommendations for festivals in Rhodes? I’m interested in anything from traditional Greek celebrations to music, art, and food festivals. Anything that will allow me to soak in the local culture and make my trip even more memorable.

I usually just "see the sites" when I am in Greece. This is my second time on Rhodes, so now I am looking for something different to do.

Taking a boat trip around Rhodes?

Has anyone ever taken a boat trip around the island of Rhodes?

From what I've researched, there are a plethora of options, from luxurious yachts to quaint sailing boats, each promising an unforgettable journey across the Aegean Sea. 🌊

What I'm Looking For:

  • Recommendations for boat tour companies you trust.
  • Tips on hidden gems and must-see spots along the coastline or nearby islets.
  • Any advice on the best time of day or year for smooth sailing.
  • Insights on what to bring apart from the obvious (sunscreen, hat, camera—you get the drift).
Anything you can help me with is very much appreciated!
