When I am about to visit a destination, I like to watch video content.

It has been a while since I have been to Corfu. I kept trying to go, but it keeps falling through.

Ignore the several-minutes long plug for a product! That part I know was necessary because they were a sponsor.

Once you get through that the content is good!

This is a great video! I love that they keep the honest parts of the experience intact, like when they got to the beach with a plastic bag filled with a purchased lunch and couldn't figure out why the beach was so hyped up. It's a lot more real and honest than a lot of other travel content I've seen. This is a great channel overall, too, thank you for sharing!

Thanks for sharing the video! I found it really engaging and informative about Corfu, which is now on my bucketlist :) While I understand the need for a sponsor plug, the content beyond that was excellent. Also, if you ever need to capture and record your own travel experiences or screen content, you might want to check out this guide on using https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/record-screen-windows-10-with-audio.html It’s a handy tool for creating and sharing your adventures, maybe you'll need it someday <3

What is Corfu like in September?

I’ve been thinking about visiting Corfu in September instead of the middle of summer, and I was curious what it’s actually like that time of year. I’ve heard mixed things from people. Some say September is the perfect balance because the weather is still warm but the crowds start to calm down a bit, while others say certain places begin slowing down after August.

For anyone who has been there in September, how was your experience? Was the water still warm enough for swimming? Were restaurants, beach bars, and boat tours still operating normally? I’m also wondering if the island still feels lively or if it becomes noticeably quieter.

I’d probably be going sometime in the first half of September if I do go. Would you recommend it over July or August? Any advice or experiences would really help while I’m trying to plan.

Liston Promenade - What to See?

I’m planning some time in Corfu Town and keep seeing the Liston Promenade mentioned as a must-see spot. I understand it’s one of the most well-known areas, but I’m trying to get a better sense of what to actually look for while I’m there.

Is it more about the atmosphere and architecture, or are there specific landmarks, cafés, or details that stand out? I’ve seen photos of the arcades and the open square nearby, but I don’t want to just pass through without really appreciating it.

Would you recommend going at a certain time of day to get the full experience? And are there any spots along the promenade that are easy to miss but worth noticing?

Favorite Walks Around Corfu Town

I might end up going to Corfu on a future trip to Greece, and Corfu Town looks like the kind of place that would be great to explore on foot.

One of my favorite things to do when visiting somewhere new is simply walk around and see what I come across. I love to explore!

So I’m curious, what are some of your favorite walks around Corfu Town? Are there particular streets, routes, or areas that you especially enjoyed wandering through? I’d love to hear about any spots that make for a really nice walk.

How expensive is Corfu?

I’m starting to look into Corfu for a possible trip and was curious how it compares cost-wise to other Greek islands. I’ve been hearing a lot lately about places like Santorini and Mykonos getting pretty expensive, especially in peak season, so I’m wondering if Corfu falls into that same category or if it’s a bit more reasonable.

From what I can tell so far, it seems like there might be a range depending on where you stay and when you go, but I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually been. Are accommodations and meals fairly affordable, or does it add up quickly?

West vs East Corfu Beaches?

I’m planning a trip to Corfu for early next summer (probably June) and I’ve started looking into beaches, but I’m a little stuck deciding which side of the island to focus on. From what I’ve read, the west coast has dramatic cliffs and sunsets, while the east coast is more sheltered and calm.

I love swimming, relaxing in the sun, and exploring a few little coves or hidden spots if possible. I’m not much into party beaches, but I do enjoy a nice taverna nearby! I’ll probably rent a car for a few days, so I’m open to bouncing around, but would love to get advice on where to base myself.

Which do you personally prefer, west or east Corfu beaches, and why? Are there beaches on one side that just blew you away? Thanks so much!
