What to know about the 'beach towel revolt' taking back Greek beaches

Across Greece, locals are taking matters into their own hands by throwing their towels down to reclaim their beaches and access to nature – without the hefty price tag.

I sincerely hope by commencement of the next season proper laws, rules and regulations are in place to be fair to all travellers,I doubt very much if anyone has the power to do anything about this in Mykonos!

Most certainly Deborah and how right you are,big changes coming soon in Greek Tourism Industry as a whole including timed, controlled entrances in Parthenon, how on Earth they will implement this?...on the point of what the traffic can bear in Mykonos,some places don't even accept reservations as they are 'pre booked'!!!.. Don't ask how much they pay for them?
